Martinelli Luce, design lighting for everyone !

Martinelli Luce was founded in 1950 by Elio Martinelli in Lucca, in Toscana. Martinelli reprensents more than 50 years of history dedicated to lamps manufacturing. The Martinelli's collection stands out thanks to its unique designs and innovative projects.

Behind, Martinelli's father had setteled a little shop in the historic centre of Lucca and specialized in electrical material supplying for installer. By working at his father's side Elio Martinelli showcased his taste for innovation and initiative. He then realises a little production of interior lighting by taking care of its first functionnality : lighting and decorating.

Its creativity, enables him to imagine and produce innovative lamps thanks to their design and their technological advance. He finds his inspiration in nature and geometry. Since then, he creates lamps which will become iconic such as Serpente and Cobra

Thanks to his success, he later collaborate with the greatest designers with who he will never cease achieving lamps which will become references in the design area. Pipistrello , a collaboration with Gae Aulenti is displayed in the greatets modern art museums worldwide and is one of the brand's bestseller? He works with numerous designers such as Sergio Asti, Lucci e Orlandini, Marc Sadler, studio Lucchi & Biserni.

Nowadays Martinelli Luce works with numerous architects and offers various lights for offices, hotels, museums, stores... The society proposes its creative, technical and historical knowledges to individuals and professionals.
